Gurmeet Ram Rahim chief of Dera Sacha Sauda verdict to be announced soon; Punjab is on High alert

The case that is associated with Gurmeet Ram Rahim of Dera Sacha Sauda Deal of Sirsa to heard by the Panchkula’s Special CBI Court in Haryana today. Although the court has not yet announced its decision. As a result in view of the verdict whole Punjab is on High Alert. According to the reports, DGP of Punjab Suresh Arora has come to Delhi to meet the Union Home Secretary. And for the High alert, Punjab has sought 250 paramilitary firms from the centre. Simultaneously, Punjab Police personnel have been allocated everywhere.

In the year 2002 Gurmeet Ram Rahim was accused of sexual exploitation of Sadhvis. And then the young woman had issued a letter to the media, chief justice of Punjab-Haryana High Court and PM for accusing Ram Rahim of sexually assaulting her. After this, the probe was handed over to the CBI by the High Court. This case was a great turnout in Haryana and Punjab. On 24 September 2002, the CBI was tasked to investigate on the basis of this letter while taking cognizance of the High Court. Around July 2007 CBI completed its investigation and submitted the report to the Special Court. All the testimony and the debate have been completed by the CBI.

Earlier the two young women were requested to represent themselves against the Dera Chief for their defense. After the CBI lawyer’s debate, it was rejected. Now it is to be said that the hearing and debate has been completed in this case. And soon the Panchkula’s Special CBI Court will announce its verdict by deciding the allegations.
