Vishwakarma Puja 2018: Pooja Vidhi, Aarti and Importance

Vishwakarma Jayanti or Vishwakarma Pooja is celebrated every year on 17th September throughout India. Lord Vishwakarma is worshiped on this day. He is called the god of the machine, the craftsman of the gods, the god of architecture and the engineer of the Gods. He is also known as the first engineer. On Vishwakarma Jayanti, machines like cars, Cutter, Axe, and computers are worshiped. Wherever you work, you must have seen the machines worshiping on this day. It is believed that worshiping machines on Vishwakarma’s birth anniversary is considered auspicious. According to the Hindu calendar, all the festivals in India are known before the festival. All festivals are determined according to the lunar calendar. According to experts, Vishwakarma worship is done by looking at the sun. This date falls on September 17 every year.

To worship this day, first, make a bath before sunrise. This Pooja is especially followed at the office, business locations or job place. On this day every craftsman worshiped his machines. To worship this day husband and wife worship together.

सकल सृष्टि के कर्ता रक्षक श्रुति धर्मा ॥

आदि सृष्टि में विधि को, श्रुति उपदेश दिया।
शिल्प शस्त्र का जग में, ज्ञान विकास किया ॥

ऋषि अंगिरा ने तप से, शांति नही पाई।
ध्यान किया जब प्रभु का, सकल सिद्धि आई॥

रोग ग्रस्त राजा ने, जब आश्रय लीना।
संकट मोचन बनकर, दूर दुख कीना॥

जब रथकार दम्पती, तुमरी टेर करी।
सुनकर दीन प्रार्थना, विपत्ति हरी सगरी॥

एकानन चतुरानन, पंचानन राजे।
द्विभुज, चतुर्भुज, दशभुज, सकल रूप साजे॥

ध्यान धरे जब पद का, सकल सिद्धि आवे।
मन दुविधा मिट जावे, अटल शांति पावे॥

श्री विश्वकर्मा जी की आरती, जो कोई नर गावे।
कहत गजानन स्वामी, सुख सम्पत्ति पावे॥

During Vishwakarma Pujan, people decorate their shops with colorful paper, also use balloons. Then all worship their tools. Because without any tools we can not make anything. We need tools very much to build such a chair, from the table too large airplanes, trains, fighter aircraft, and warships.
