“Valentine’s Day”, the most awaiting day for every couple is here with lots of love and happiness.  Although February is the month of love and affection, but the February 14 is celebrated as Valentine’s Day, it is a special day for every couple. Apart from that, girls are also want to surprise their husband or boyfriend, so they also thinking many ideas to make them happy. Here we have the special valentine food ideas for you which will definitely surprise your loved one.

Heart shaped cookies Recipe

ingredients: 4 cup butter, 2 cups white sugar, 4 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 5 cups wheat flour, 2 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt.

In a large bowl, stir butter and sugar together until it becomes smooth. Beat eggs and add vanilla extract to it. Stir the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cover, and chill dough for at least two hours or overnight. Then, preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Roll out the dough about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Cut it into the heart shapes with any cookie cutter. Place cookies 1 inch apart on butter greased cookie sheets. Bake the cookies for 6 to 8 minutes in preheated oven. Cool completely.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries Recipe

Ingredients: 15 ounces milk chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons shortening, 1 pound fresh strawberries.

In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and shortening, stir it until smooth. Hold Strawberries by the toothpicks and dip it into the chocolate mixture. Turn the strawberries upside down and insert the toothpick into styrofoam for the chocolate to cool.

Red Velvet Valentine Cake Recipe

Ingredients: 1 cup butter, 3 cups white sugar, 6 eggs, 1-ounce red food colour, 3 tablespoons cocoa powder, 3 cups all-purpose flour, 1 cup buttermilk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 tablespoon white vinegar, 8-ounce cream cheese, 12 ounces white chocolate,

Preheat oven to 165 degrees C. Grease the three three-inch pan. In a large bowl, stir 1 cup butter with sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix food colour with cocoa and add to mixture. Add flour alternately with buttermilk. Add vanilla and salt. Mix baking soda with vinegar, and gently stir into mixture. Divide batter into three prepared 8 inch round pans. Bake it at 165 degrees C for 25 minutes. cool it now.

To make the White Chocolate Cream Cheese Icing: Melt the white chocolate and allow to cool. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until it becomes light and fluffy. Gradually beat in melted white chocolate and softened butter. Beat until it is the consistency of whipped cream, then use to fill and frost the cake.
