The skin of the fruit contains hydroxycitric acid (HCA). This is the active ingredient in garcinia cambogia extract, which is marketed as a diet pill.

Side effects: There are no reports of serious side effects, but some reports of mild digestive problems.

Caffeine

Caffeine is the most commonly consumed psychoactive substance in the all over the globe. It is found naturally in coffee, green tea and dark chocolate, also added to many processed foods and beverages. Caffeine is known as a metabolism booster. Moreover, many studies have also shown that caffeine can boost metabolism by 3-11%.

Side effects: It can reduce the quality of your sleep and the high amounts of caffeine can cause anxiety, insomnia, irritability, nausea, diarrhoea and other symptoms.

It can be seen that Glucomannan and Hydroxycut could be beneficial for weight loss whereas, Caffeine and Green tea extract can burn the body fat with less side effect than other supplements.
