Taj Mohatsav is a 10 day festival which will take place in Agra. This festival invokes the memories of old Mughal era and the Nawabi style prevailing in Uttar Pradesh. Many artisans i.e. probably more than 400 are given opportunity to display their works of Art. This year this festival will takes place from February 18 and will continue till February 27. Every year this festival is based on theme. This festival is a platform where the knowledge about India is completely conveyed. All the art forms of India are displayed. One can find India’s rich arts, crafts, cultures, cuisine, dance and music in this festival.
Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world. This festival is organised by the Uttar Pradesh tourism and basically the government of Uttar Pradesh takes part in it. This festival will take place in Agra. This festival was started in 1992 and is one of the most old festival which depicts India’s culture in it. This year Agra will celebrate the 27th festival. Taj Mohatsav tickets costs 50 for the adults, for teenagers it is 10, for children it is free and the foreign tourist is also free. School students will be permitted entry on 500 with two teachers. Tickets are available on the ticket counter and can be taken on the day visitor wants it. Taj Mahotsav provides an ultimate platform to worldwide artists to showcase their craftsmanship. Renowned musicians, dancers, artists and chefs participate in this festival to offer visitors a spectacular experience. Adityanath and Governor Ram Naik have been invited to attend the inauguration ceremony.
