Republic Day 2018: Speech for Students and Teachers on 26 January
26 January is celebrated as a Republic Day of India Since from 1950, after the two and half year of Independence. Every Indian Celebrates this day with joy and happiness. Preparations are being started for one month at Rajpath in national Capital for the Republic Day celebrations and the way of India Gate is closed by the security point of view so that there can not be any kind of offensive activities. School and college students are also eager to celebrate this festival, so they are also engaged in preparing for it a month ago. All students who have done well in sports, studies or other programs in the academic session are honoured with prizes and certificates on this day.

Speech on Republic Day or 26 January

Republic Day is the national festival of India. This day is celebrated in the joy of becoming a republic of India. On January 26, 1950, India was declared a Republican nation. The new era was inaugurated on this day by adopting a new constitution of independent India. It was a day of self-respect for the Indian public. According to the constitution, Dr. Rajendra Prasad became the first President of Independent India. People celebrate happiness throughout the country. Since then, on January 26, every year the Republic Day has been celebrated in our country. 
On the occasion of Republic Day, the main event takes place in Delhi. A platform is built on Vijay Chowk. On this occasion, a President is invited as the Chief Guest. The President travels here with his bodyguards and hoists the flag. They were given 21 gun salute. Army band sings the tunes of the national anthem and the President inspects the parade. Children of different schools, NCC Cadets of the police paramilitary and army personnel participate in the parade. A large number of leaders, ambassadors and the general public are come to see the parade.

Republic Day is the day of evaluation of its accomplishments. Newspapers and magazines print out many reports related to it. There are colourful events on television. Places of place are surrounded by the Qawwalis and Kavi conventions. The nation feels proud of its republic.

After the sacrifices of thousands and millions of people, the country got independence and became the nation’s Republic. Freedom did not get us in the begging many lost their lives for this. Leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose lost their lives. On this day of honour, every Indian have to take the vow that he or she will protect his constitution and maintain peace and harmony in the country so that it will help the country to grow.
