Ram Navami will be celebrated in India on March 25. This is celebrated mostly during the last day of Navratri. Many rituals, prayers and pujas are performed on this day. It is believed that on this day, all the Puja will be performed before 12 noon. There are two kinds of Navratri which are celebrated every year with great zeal and with religious beliefs. Ram Navami which is popularly known as Sri Ram Navami is the festival which is celebrated with great faith in all parts of the country. It is believed that at 12 noon Lord Rama with his brother and wife made an appearance in Ayodhya.

The significance of celebrating this day is that it marks the comeback of the Lord Rama. Lord Rama appeared in the house of Maharaja Dashratha as he was extremely worried about the absence of sons from a long time. People celebrate this day with great pomp as it has different significance. It has huge importance to the people as it marks great importance in the people lives. It is usually seen that on this day Brahmins are called home and are served different types of Bhojans. On this day, all the nine avatar of Goddess Durga is worshipped. This is the last day of Navratri and on this day all the people who had been observing fast, their fast ends on this day.

The celebration includes the decorating the Temples with flowers, all the deity are dressed beautifully and they wear different types of jewellery. On this day some people keep fast till sunset and during the time of fast people are usually refrained from doing all the wrong means. The puja for Ram Navami can be done in Brahma Muhurtam i.e. 04:49 AM to 06:01 am on 25th March 2018 and after sunset i.e. 06:40 pm onwards.
