An Agra bound bus, which was traveling with children met with a horrible accident on the Yamuna Expressway. The accident caused the death of a child on the spot, while others were severely injured and rushed to the hospital. The Yamuna Expressway has become a very dangerous passage of travel, and has been vulnerable for accidents. The recent accident occurred when the tire of the bus suddenly burst and the bus was turned upside down, and children’s screams of horror and pain shook the whole expressway. The bus belonged to Amar Bharti school and the children were going for to visit the Taj Mahal, and had reached Khadauli.
The eyewitness’ described the scene, when the bus turned upside down, the children’s horrifying screams turned the road into chaos and unbearable pain. When the people reached the bus, the children were still lying the bus, bloodied and screaming. They began to pull them out of the bus, and soon the police and ambulance arrived to provide the relief.
This is indeed a terrible tragedy, and the harm and injury brought to the children, teachers and the driver is devastating. Our prayers are with them, and we hope that there is some kind of system through which these accidents can be prevented.
