World children’s day: Celebrations to Promote Children Role for Bright Future

World / Universal children’s day was celebrated on 20th November. It is the day to celebrate the anniversary of the proclamation of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child by the UN on November 20, 1959. The celebration of children’s day is important to promote the welfare of children and encourage understanding between children all over the world. Children will “take over” highly visible roles to shine a spotlight across the globe, on the most pressing challenges faced by their generation. Various public and private organizations all over the world organize seminars, conferences, rallies and walks to show the plight of those children who were deprived of the basic amenities of life.

Sachin Tendulkar tweets today on world children’s day, “They grow up so fast, but they will always be our babies. #HappyChildrensDay to my beautiful kids, Sara and Arjun. Happy #WorldChildrensDay everyone,” and shares his babies photo on social media.

Unicef UK also tweets on children’s day to promote children, “Today is #WorldChildrensDay! The day where children raise their voices in solidarity with the world’s most disadvantaged and vulnerable children.”

However, Joseph Kinoti tweets for concern of the people towards the ailing children, “The plight of children is a worldwide concern. As we mark today’s #WorldChildrensDay, look at how the Lord has sent His Mightiest Prophet to rescue the ailing children. Yesterday, he decreed massive Healing live on radio, and an avalanche of healing swept across the entire world!”
