Vishwakarma Day is a celebration of Hindu God named Vishwakarma the divine architect of the universe in Hinduism. This day is popularly known as Vishwakarma Jayanti or Vishwakarma Puja. The god Vishwakarma considered as Swayambhu and Creator of the world. He constructed Dwarka the holy city where Lord Krishna ruled and the city of Gold – Lanka that ruled by Ravana. In the earliest time, God Vishwakarma used to be the another name of Brahma. And he was considered as a divine architect of the Puranas in Hindu chronology. He is God who is known for building the Swarga Heaven.
Vishwakarma Puja generally celebrated every year on 17th of September across India in the states such as West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Karnataka, Assam, and Tripura. Devotees celebrate this day with much excitement and enthusiasm. They celebrate this occasion by flying kites and worshipping God Vishwakarma. People celebrate this day with a full celebration at their offices, Factories, workshops and the industrial areas.
