Today, the DTC buses are running on a trial for using Metro cards to pay tickets. Arvind Kejriwal government launched Common Mobility Card scheme in Delhi. Now, the travelling becomes easy for the commuters who travel by buses as well as Metro in a day. As per the reports, the Delhi government Arvind Kejriwal has introduced around 250 buses including 200 DTC buses and 50 cluster buses which use common mobility card to pay tickets. The Common Mobility Card is a card which will be used by the commuters to pay tickets while travelling on buses as well as metro.

The metro cardholders can now use their cards while travelling in 200 DTC buses and 50 cluster buses. To use a metro card in buses, the commuters just have to give their card to the conductors in buses. And he will swipe your metro card on the device to charge a ticket. Then the conductor will provide commuters with a paper ticket.

Therefore, now the commuters just have to carry a single card while travelling on buses and metro. The Common Mobility Card is a big step in Delhi’s transport sector. While introducing the Common Mobility Card, Arvind Kejriwal said Delhi’s is the first city in India to have this card. He also added that it a big step which will enhance the seamless travel of people in Delhi. The Common Mobility Card launched by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal makes travel more convenient, cashless and seamless for Delhi’s commuters.

As per the reports, from today the trials of using a metro card in buses has started. The buses which carry the facilities of using a metro card to pay bus tickets will start from Rohini I, Rajghat and Banda Bahadur Marg depots which mean the buses on routes from Mori Gate to Mayur Vihar Phase III, Mukherjee Nagar to Inderpuri and Jahangirpuri to Anand Vihar will offer this service to the commuters.
