APTET, that is, Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test has released it’s scheduled, and the examinations that are meant for candidates, who want to become teachers, or aspire to begin their career in the same field. Teacher Eligibility Test is essential for every candidate because it validates him or her to practice or be a teacher in a school in their state. The application process for the Teacher Eligibility Test is going to proceed from December 2017, and the main examination is going to take place in January 2018. The extent of application online for the test will be open from 18 December 2017, and will last till 1st January. The candidates who are interested in appearing for the examination must give the fee for the online application from 18 December to 30th December.
The eligibility criteria for the candidates who want to give the examination is as follows for Paper 1, which is usually for those who want to teach from 1st to 5th standards in schools. The candidates need to be in possession of Intermediate certificate, and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or, if they don’t have it, then they can submit 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
For Candidates who want to teach students from Class 6 to 8 in schools, they need to have in possession, a Graduation Degree (any discipline) from a Recognized University and along with it a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) certificate.

The examinations for both of the levels of TET will include 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) that will be carrying 1 mark each, and there is not going to be any negative marking for wrong answers. The candidates will have 2 and a half hours to complete the test.
