After the statement, by Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath raises the question that, Does taj mahal is not reflects Indian culture anymore?. The U.P tourism booklet titled ‘Uttar Pradesh Paryatan-Apaar Sambhavanaayein’, which was released by state Tourism Minister Rita Bahuguna last week only mentions temples in Ayodhya, Mathura, and Gorakhpur.

Yogi Adityanath said that foreign dignitaries visiting India will be gifted the Shrimad Bhagavat Gita or Ramayana which reflect Indian culture instead of replicas of the Taj Mahal.  Yogi said if Ramayana is gifted to any foreign president that reflects the history of Bihar.

Taj Mahal was declared as a world heritage site in 1983, and designated as one of the seven wonders of the world. Now opposition party criticising  BJP leaders wants to remove Muslim arts and history from India.
