Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar registration will end tomorrow on the official website at The Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar is the part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan initiative of the NDA government which launched in 2014. This initiative of the government includes Swachh Bharat Swachh Vidyalaya to clean all the schools of India. And the initiative was launched by the government to ensure that all schools in India should have separate functional toilets for girls and boys. In 2016, Swachh Vidyalaya awards were instituted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India to recognize, inspire and celebrate excellence in sanitation and hygiene practice in schools.

However, the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar is open for every school of India such as government, state government, government-aided schools along with the private schools of the Urban and rural areas. As per the Swachh Vidyalaya official website, this awards initiative motive is to honour awards to the schools that have taken steps towards the Swachh School for the toilets sanitation and cleanliness.

The Swachh Vidyalaya awards gave to the schools those have registered on the official website. And after evaluation government provides the award if the water facility, toilets, Handwashing with Soap, Operations and Maintenance, Behaviour Change and Capacity Building is accurate in the school.

Steps to Register

  • For the registration of schools, officials of the schools have to use the U-DISE code of school also need to download the Data Capture Format (DCF) and submit at the Block, District, and State level office.
  • Firstly, schools have to complete primary information section in order format. After submitting this information the password will be sent to the mobile number provided by the schools. After that official has to log in for the survey.
