So its a very good news that both of them will be collaborating soon on a movie project. Shahid, while attending the Zee Cine Awards 2018, made this announcement, saying that him and Imtiaz were indeed collaborating for something special. He told the reporters that he will begin working with Imtiaz after he completes work on Batti Gul meter challu.
This is indeed a great news for all the fans of Shahid and Imtiaz, as everyone would love to see them together again. There have been no further reports about what kind of project they’re going to work on, but it is most likely to another great life lesson from the writer/director.
Shahid has been busy completing Batti Gul Meter Challu, and had also started promoting Padmavati, until the release for the movie had to be deferred because of the inability to get a certificate from the CBFC on time. On the controversy, Shahid has repeatedly said that the movie does not contain any matter or scenes that are likely to offend to anyone. He also asked people to watch the movie and then decide what they think of it. “I am sure we will have a clarity by the end of this year about when the film is releasing but we want it to release as soon as possible,” he told the when asked about the movie on the red carpet yesterday. He has also said that the movie is going to be memorable and that making the movie is one of the best experiences of his career.
