Sensex: BSE, Nifty Surges, Cochin Shipyard Jumps 10% on 5400cr Deal with Indian Navy

Indian Markets open in green today BSE opens 142 points up to 32006 and Nifty jumped 41 points to 10057 at 10:28 IST. Cochin Shipyard in the news today after the company bagged 5,400 crore deal from the Indian Navy Yesterday. Stock jumped from 518 to 579 yesterday at 14:40 IST after the company got confirmation from the Ministry of Defence (Navy) that the Cochin Shipyard has emerged as the Lowest bidder for 16 X ASW SWC Project for the Indian Navy. Today in the morning session Cochin Shipyard share price almost jumped 2% from the previous close of 571 and currently trading at 582 and hit today’s High of 592 on NSE. Investors are bullish about the stock and predicting target of 650 in the coming month.

Bharti Infratel, Bharti Airtel rallies in the early morning session today on the news that Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and GIC Singapore is in talks to acquire world’ largest wireless infrastructure company Indus Towers, and telecom tower company Bharti Infratel for  11 billion USD.Top Losers on BSE charts today are IBULHGFIN sinks 1.92% to 1257, SYNDIBANK sinks 1.67% to 67.70.
