India’s leading Exchange BSE Sensex gained over 150 points in the morning hours on Tuesday as investors took long positions ahead of quarterly results from bluechip companies and positive Asian cues.Top performers on BSE NCC, Andhra Bank, and Jet Airways at 12:12 IST. Top losers on the Index are Havels dropped 5.38% to 512.50. Religare maintained its downward journey dropped 2.68% to 43.50.Metal stocks and Aviation stocks have seen in green zone today.Metal stocks such Jindal Steel & Power Ltd rose 3%, , Steel Authority Of India 2.4%, Vedanta Ltd 2.3%, JSW Steel Ltd rose 2%, NMDC up by 1%. Aviation stocks Jet Airways India Ltd surged 5%, SpiceJet Ltd rose 3%, InterGlobe Aviation Ltd was up 2%.
Asian markets opened today with mild gains Nikkei gained 0.17%, and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was up 0.12%, while Shanghai Composite Index up 0.09% in early trade. The US Dow Jones dropped 0.23% on Monday.
