The Reserve Bank of India took a new step and made a new change in monetarily. New 50 Rs denominations bank notes on Friday were introduces leading to a buzz among the people. This is the third currency that has been introduced after demonetization, after Rs 2000 and Rs 500. As per RBI reports, the new currency note of Rs 50 will be of the dimension 66 mm x 135 mm and will bear a motif of Hampi with chariot and will also carry the signature of Urjit R Patel, who is currently serving as the Governor of Reserve Bank of India.
The base color will also be changed and the note will be of Fluorescent Blue. The banknote will also have a windowed demetalised security thread with inscriptions ‘Bharat’ (in Devnagri) and ‘RBI’. And the note has other designs too with some geometric pattern on the overall color scheme that has been used both above and reverse of the note. The use of two types of banknotes at the same time might become a confusion for the people and also it might get a problem for the ATMs to dispense money.
Last year demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes were introduced by the Government of India leading to a lot of hassle for the people. But with all the hassle, a good point was that this step was taken to curtail the black marketing and illegal activities and terrorism too. There was a sudden announcement as a result of which the real culprits were catched red-handed.
