Raj Thackeray talk on Modi-mukt Bharat, Slams Sridevi and Akshay Kumar Nationality

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray may be set to join the Congress-NCP alliance in the state. On Sunday by addressing the MNS conclave at Shivaji Park, Raj slammed PM Narendra Modi and spoke of ‘Modi-mukt’ India in 2019. He said, “Ending the BJP regime would be India’s third Independence,”. “The way he attacked Modi, there is hardly any doubt that his party MNS will join the Congress-NCP alliance to take on BJP in the next polls,”. An MNS leader said,”Raj’s 40-minute talks with NCP president Sharad Pawar in Mumbai last Saturday set the tone for new political equations in Maharashtra.

A Shiv Sena leader said,“If Raj Thackeray Joins the Alliance of the Congress-NCP, the three parties will collectively eat into the Marathi vote bank. In view of this, the Sena can’t take any risk. It will have to join hands with BJP and ditto is the case with BJP.  Thackeray singled out the Modi government’s decision to demonetise old Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 notes in November 2016. According to the MNS chief, if the Modi government was dismissed and an inquiry was ordered into demonetisation, the note ban exercise might turn out to the biggest scam ever since 1947.

After the conclave, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray, questioned why late Bollywood actress Sridevi was given a state funeral and asked: “What did she do for the country that her body was wrapped in the tricolour?” He claimed that the media was under pressure from the BJP government, and Nirav Modi was the talk of the town until Sridevi’s death and funeral coverage took over. Thackeray also slammed Akshay Kumar by saying this,” Akshay is “not even an Indian citizen” and is trying to follow in the footprints of Manoj Kumar, he said, the films were just advertisement for government schemes. Now, a next Dinner party has scheduled at NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s residence at the end of March, where Mamta Banerjee will discuss the strategy for the 2019 loksabha Election.
