Gujarat is all set to go to polls for coming days on December 9 and 14, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is addressing a public meeting today in Gujarat for elections. This is the seventh visit of the Rahul Gandhi to the poll-bound state since September. Two public meeting will be followed by the Gandhi, at the Town Hall Ground in Anjar in Kutch district, however, the other is in Morbi district. Rahul Gandhi said during his public meeting, “I listened to the speech of Prime Minister Modi yesterday, in which 60% of his speech, was on Congress and me.”

“The Gujarat election is about the future of Gujarat and its people, not about Congress or BJP” Congress VP added. He praised Gujarati food, moreover, he said, he likes to eat Gujarati food and also have khakra Gujarati, achaar Gujarati, moongphali Gujarati in his kitchen.

During his last visit to the Gujarat, a major controversy came out on his visit to the Somnath temple, as the Bharatiya Janata Party questioned on his faith in Hindu culture. However, the Congress party hit back to Bjp and accused them while sailing that they “dirty politics” and maintained that Rahul was a “devout Hindu”.

Gandhi also attacked on the twitter to the prime minister over various issues in the run-up to the Gujarat Assembly elections for his “unfulfilled promises”.
