PM Modi US Visit : Modi meets Indian community living in United States

Prime Minister Modi interacted with the Indian community on Sunday, Washington D.C., the United States Capital. He said Indian community feels elated when their is good news about India and feels sad when their is something bad. Modi appreciated the role played by Indian Diaspora in contributing towards economy growth of United States.

PM Modi assured citizens of better opportunities and ideal environment expressing confidence that his government will soon transform the country for better future. He claimed of not a single allegation of corruption in his last 3 years tenure as a Prime minister of India.

Mr Modi also talked about role of technology innovation and implementations which has helped in better and efficient governance. Topics including Direct benefit transfer, with an example of LPG subsidy and vision of providing LPG connection to 5 crore poor households was part of his speech.

Modi also spoke about terrorism and the threat perception it poses to the world. Contextually he spoke about surgical strikes carried out by the government. Prime Minister hailed and mentioned role of Minister of External Affairs, Smt. Sushma Swaraj in helping countrymen is distress around the world.
