PM Modi commissions INS Kalvari submarine into Indian Navy today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has commissioned India’s deadliest submarine INS Kalvari into the Indian Navy. Today, PM Modi visited Mumbai in the morning to commission the INS Kalvari submarine into the Indian Navy. While dedicating the Submarine to the Nation, PM Modi said it is the fine example of the fast-growing strategic partnership between the India and France. However, on 8th December 1967, INS Kalvari was inducted into the Indian Navy. Although, the commissioning of the INS Kalvari’s indigenous version comes after the day force observed the gold.

The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi dedicated naval submarine INS Kalvari to the nation. While on another side, in Gujarat the second phase of pollings is going on, where PM Modi will visit soon to cast the vote today. In the INS Kalvari commissioning ceremony, PM Modi expressed his gratitude to France and the workers who are responsible for building INS submarine which is the first Scorpene class submarines. PM Modi during the INS Kalvari commissioning ceremony said INS Kalavari is India’s deadliest submarine built at Mazgaon Dock Limited in Mumbai in 2017, September. The INS submarine that is dedicated to Indian Army today has put through extensive trials and tests for the last 120 days.

The commissioning ceremony of the INS Kalvari submarine has marked the presence of Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Navy Chief Admiral Sunil Lamba, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao along with the top defence officials. During this ceremony, PM Modi coined the acronym SAGAR ( Security And Growth for All in the Region). He thanked all the workers who are associated with INS Kalvari and also said today is the pride day for India. He has also congratulated all the citizens of the country on this historic occasion. After marking the commissioning ceremony of INS Kalvari PM Modi will visit Sabarmati.
