Petrol, Diesel daily revisions from today: Here are the steps to check prices

The different pay for the prices of petrol and diesel starts from today across India. The vehicle owner of India has to pay petrol and diesel rates that will change on daily basis. This decision of revising petrol and diesel prices daily for consumers across the country will be taken by the state oil companies i.e., Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).

Earlier, The petroleum companies decided to revise fuel rates from midnight. Later, the demand from the petrol dealers associations at state and national level government decided to revise the rates from 6 am. According to the Petroleum Ministry, the prices of petrol and diesel at the petrol pumps of Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum will be decided on the daily basis based on the market conditions. And this retail price of fuels will be more open and transparent, competitive and reflective of the market conditions. This daily revision of fuel rate is Customer Centric Initiative.

2. Check the day price on the dispensing unit
3. You can also verify the prices of the fuel through SMS, Toll-free number, Smart Drive App and through websites state oil companies
