I want to tell her that this is the land of Lord Ram’s brother, Lakshman and I don’t need to explain what Lakshman did to Surpanaka.” BJP party also asked Amu to explain his objectionable remarks against Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Few days before, Amu had made violent threats in regards to the controversy of a movie, ‘Padmavati’ announcing a bounty of Rs 10 crores for beheading Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone. Padmavati Controversy has taken a shocking and violent turn on Friday after a man’s body was found hanging in Rajasthan, outside the Nahargarh Fort. But sill the Rajasthan police are investigating in the case to find out, whether the man committed suicide or was murdered to set an example for the people who are still supporting the movie.
Apart from that, the Delhi High court has dismissed the plea against the movie while saying that such petition is hopeless and misconceived and could incite unwanted violence around the country.
