Padmavati banned in Gujarat too, CM doesn’t want law and order situation

Padmavati, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has now been banned in Gujarat state too. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has said that the government won’t allow its release in the state because of they don’t want any law and order situation. The decision comes after Uttar Pradesh and Madhay Pradesh have banned the movie because of the pressure and threat of violence by fringe group Karni Sena. No one involved in the banning of the movie has watched the movie yet, but they’re acting on the song released, Ghoomar, and the rumors of the vulgarization of Queen Padmavati. However, people do have watched the movie have on numerous times said that it is a glorification of Rajput’s, doesn’t have anything close to a dream sequence between Padmavati and Allauddin Khilji, and is the ultimate gift to the valour and sacrifice of Padmavati.

It seems that no one is ready to release the movie with such accusations, even though the movie can’t be banned in any state before certification from CBFC board.

Not even stopping to a Ban, the Karni Sena has threatened the Director and Actress Deepika Padukone with beheadings and public burnings, but no solid action has been taken against them yet. If this unseen ban goes on, the movie will become something of a legend itself, restricted by people who haven’t five minutes of its 3 hour run time.
