OBC quota in NTSE National Talent Search Examination approves by HRD Minister

Today, the Ministry of Human Resource Development has created the reservation quota for the OBC category students in NTSE. As per the reports, the HRD ministry has approved the OBC reservation quota for National Talent Search Competition. Now, the government will reserve the OBC quota for the NTSE examination the second phase under the fixe reservation rules at the Centre. Presently, the OBC category will get profit from the 2019 year and the process of NTSE 2018 has started. The NTSE National Talent Search Competition is the examination which selected students of 11th, 12th, undergraduate and postgraduate for the scholarship.

The Union Human Resource Development minister Prakash Javedkar has announced the reservation to OBC students. This reservation provided under the Central Government norms for the scheduled tribes, scheduled castes and physically challenged students. Every year National Academic Research and Training Council conduct National Talent Search Competition.

In the tweet, Human Resource HRD minister wrote that now they have approved the reservation for OBC students for the second phase of National Talent Search Competition. The ministry has also doubled the scholarship of NTSE as now around two thousand students will get scholarship under the National Talent Search Competition along with the reservation for the OBC category students.
