5 CRPF Jawans injured in terrorist attack in Kashmir, No fatal casualty reported

Terrorists once again tried to disrupt valleys peaceful atmosphere when CRPF vehicle was attacked in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag on November 2nd, 2017. 5 CRPF jawans have been reported injured in the attack, while three sustained bullet injuries and two got injured due to the broken glass panes of the vehicle. It is not clear whether the attack was planned with nefarious intention or was it a case of a sudden encounter.

Militants opened fired on 96 Battalion CRPF’s vehicle at Lazibal in Anantnag district at 8.30 am, a police official told the media. He also reported the news of the injured Jawans who got hurt in the bullet injuries and two got glass panes of the vehicle. Injured personnels are being treated by the hospital authorities and doctors. Meanwhile, LeT organization seems to have taken the responsibility for the attack and authorities are amalgamated in investigation the same to identify and validate the identities of culprits.

Authorities are also investigating the involvement of any local links to find if there is any interference or connection to the terrorists. A strict operation has been launched to catch the terrorists who tried to attack CRPF jawans. Kashmir valley is seeing much more number of terrorists encounter in recent times after the BJP and PDP alliance formed coalition and came into power.

After the attack several residents and visitors took to twitter informing about the attack and condemning the ill intended action. Interestingly one of the tweet claimed terrorist named Zeenat Ul Islam and Showkat are the main force behind LET in the valley.
