Today, the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar urged fo 50% quota for backward classes in private sector. As per the reports, the National Commission for the Backward Classes had recommended 27% reservation for the other backward classes in the private sector. And now today the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar asked to hold 50% reservation in the private sector. Also, the Janta Dal United party leader had called for a national debate on the matter. As per the reports, Nitish Kumar said that the employees belong to the backward classes should not have to sign any contract unless their employers ensure quota for them.
However, the proposal of Nitish Kumar over the reservation for the others backward classes into the private sector has welcomed by the Bharatiya Janata Party leader Hukumdev Narayan. And the Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said it’s my opinion that other backward should need the reservation in the private sector. Also, there must be the National level debate.
According to the reports, in 2016 February, the National Commission for Backward Classes sent the proposal to the Department of Personnel and Training and the Social Justice Ministry for demanding the recommendation of 27% quota in the private organisation or the sectors for the other backward classes. Perhaps, Later on, it was denied by the government to consider any such move in India. Now, the leaders are coming over with recommendations of 27% quota.
