The Reserve Bank of India on Friday announced about the new 50 Rs notes in the market which created a lot of hassle among the people discussing that now which note will be dispensed from the ATMs and which ones will be acceptable and valid too. The second reason for the people to be discussing so much about the note is nothing but its new look brought forward by RBI. The new notes will be bearing the motif of Hampi of Chariot on the reverse that clearly depicts and is a clear symbol of India’s cultural heritage.
The RBI also announced that it will issue notes in Rs 50 denominations in the Mahatma Gandhi new series. Along with the motif of Hampi with the chariot on the reverse which depicts the country’s rich cultural heritage. The base color of the note is fluorescent blue. The new note will also be having the Ashoka pillar emblem on the right side of the obverse and will bear the year of printing on the reverse side and at the same time it will also feature a Swachh Bharat logo with slogan and language panel.
The obverse front features of the note are: See through register with denominational numeral 50, Denominational numeral ५० in Devnagari, Portrait of Mahatma Gandhi at the centre, Micro letters ‘RBI’, ‘भारत’, ‘INDIA’ and ‘50’, Windowed demetalised security thread with inscriptions ‘भारत’ and RBI, Guarantee Clause, Governor’s signature with Promise Clause and RBI emblem towards right of Mahatma Gandhi portrait, Ashoka Pillar emblem on the right, Mahatma Gandhi portrait and electrotype (50) watermarks, Number panel with numerals growing from small to big on the top left side and bottom right side.
The features on the reverse back are year of printing of the note on the left, Swachh Bharat logo with slogan, Language panel, Motif of Hampi with Chariot, Denominational numeral ५० in Devnagari.
