Narendra Modi lays foundation for National Centre for Ageing at AIIMS

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation for National Centre for Ageing at AIIMS in Delhi today. The centre has been established to care for the elderly, and will have 200 hundred beds for their well being. He is also going to inaugurate 555 bed Super Speciality Block that is going to be situated in Safdarjung Hospital. Narendra Modi spoke that there is a need for solid infrastructure for Hospitals that are going to benefit the poor and middle class families of the country. And the state government and centre government is doing its utmost to achieve this goal, so that health care is available to all public.

He pointed out the several policy interventions that have been launched by the government, that are taking the initiatives to a more successful place and will make it possible for the middle class population of the nation to access the hospital care without having to pay too much for the services.

He added that the government has observed that AIIM has been facing, and are in process of increasing its facilities, including the campuses. The most important thing in this venture is the healthcare of people and the chance of getting the best healthcare that India has to offer without spending all their money on the facilities.
