Mumbai Weather: Mumbai rains are back to bring down temperature

Mumbai Weather gets a relief from the sweltering heat as rains are back with light showers in the early morning on Wednesday. Today Mumbai has marked few good spells of rains. Only a few weeks left for the monsoon season to end from Maharashtra and the IMD India Meteorological Department has suggested that a thundershower likely to appear in the city today or on Thursday evening and night. Although the Mumbai city has practically got dry after the flood episode, only light showers making an appearance. During last 24 hours, Mumbai has recorded whopping 103 mm of rainfall. If we talk about the weather condition of India, we get to know that a feeble Western Disturbance will be seen over North Pakistan adjoining Jammu and Kashmir.

The Monsoon axis is running along the Northern plains. And it is expected that northern plains of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and North Rajasthan meanwhile continued to mark dry weather while light rain may occur over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Moreover, the cyclonic circulation is continuing over South Bangladesh and moderate rains are possible over Sikkim, parts of Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal. And the major cities of India like Mumbai, Pune, and Kolkata received light rain while Delhi and Lucknow will have dry weather. As per the several kinds of weather reports the temperature of Mumbai will drop with light shower for two three days.
