MHT CET Results 2018 announced, check your result @dtemaharashtra.gov.in

MHT CET Result 2018: Directorate of Technical Education, declared Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2018 results. The results will be released on its official website dtemaharashtra.gov.in. The announcement of the MHT CET 2018 Result was done on June 2 previously. The candidate will be able to check his result by going to dtemaharashtra.gov.in. The MHT CET 2018 exam was held on May 10, 2018. This examination is held in every year for admissions to pharmacy and Engineering courses in the various colleges in the state(Maharashtra). Last year, DTE notified that though there will be no negative marking, however, the difficulty level in maths, physics, and chemistry will be at par with JEE Main. For biology, the difficulty level will be of NEET level.

This time the offline entrance examination was organized by the Directorate of Technical Education, (Maharashtra) in three sessions. Of these, mathematics exam was organized in the morning shift, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology in the afternoon shift. There were four question papers in this examination- whose code no. were 11, 22, 33 and 44. These examinations were conducted under the supervision of 32,000 security forces in 1260 examination centers of across 36 districts of the state.

How to Check MHT CET 2018 Result

  1. Go to official website of dtemaharashtra.gov.in
  2. Click on the Result link
  3. Enter Application Number and Date of Birth or other mandatory details
  4. Click on the Submit Button
  5. The result will come on your screen.
  6. Take print out of it for your future reference

Through this examination, admission is given in the following courses- B.E / B.TECH AND B.PHARM./ PHARM D. COURSES AND B. Sc. Honors (Agriculture) / B.Sc. (Horticulture) / B.Sc. Honors (Forestry) / B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) / B.Tech. (Food Technology) / B.Sc. (Honors) / B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) / B.F.Sc. (Fisheries) / B.Sc. Honors (Animal Husbandry)

Counseling Schedule and Guidelines

Counseling for MHT CET-2018 will start from the first week of June. For this, students must also register themselves on the site. They need to share their candidature type, college choice and what course they want to read further. One important thing is that no student is required to pay separate fees for counseling, but the students who are going to get admission on the basis of JEE Main rank will have to pay separate counseling fees.

In this process, verification of the document will be done only after the students will be made allotment on the basis of merit. Counseling and seat allotment will be done under the process of Centralized Allotment, which is called a CAP in colloquial language. Here students will be given the facility to freeze their seats, float (Confirm but to upgrade or leave open for a better option) or to withdraw the seat.
