Online and Offline booking for JiPhone will begin from 24 August 5.30 PM IST today, requiring Aadhar card for eligibility. Although Reliance Jio has officially started taking pre-orders for the 4g feature phone and customers can book their Jio handset through online or offline mode. Many stores in Delhi and NCR region started offline pre bookings of Jio phone. However, the Reliance Industrials limited has not confirmed the registration timings yet but the registration process will begin from tomorrow. Also customers can check their nearest offline authorised Jio phone stores and can ask then when they will start taking the registrations.
Documents Needed While Jio Phone Online And Offline Booking
The customers need to give a copy of Aadhaar card while booking Jio Phone whether online or offline. And only one phone will be booked for single person across the country. So, if you want to book number of phone then you can do registration or can book on the name of your company by providing proper documents of your company along with PAN or GSTN number. After the booking customers will get call in September for their Jio phone.
Jio Phone Delivery Dates
The Jiophone will be delivered to consumers who made the bookings in the early days between September 1 and September 4. And Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani says that they aim to deliver as many as Jio phone to 5 million (50 lakh) units per week across India.
Although the Jio phones are free of cost but it requires the user to make an upfront payment of Rs. 1,500 that is refundable after three years. The security deposit of Rs. 1,500 is necessary to avoid any potential misuse of data.
