India Vs New Zealand: BCCI suspends Pune curator Pandurang Salgaoncar for pitch tampering

BCCI suspended the curator Pandurang Salgaoncar of the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium. As per the reports, BCCI claimed that the MCA pitch curator Pandurang Salgaoncar captured on Camera for allowing the people to tamper with the pitch and also agreed to doctor the pitch just an hour before the first ball is bowled in the second ODI between India and New Zealand. Today, the Board of Control for the Cricket in India joint secretary Amitabh Chaudhary said that BCCI has conduct sting operation on the Pune pitch curator and caught him revealing details about the wicket.

As per the reports, the MCA has suspended Pandurang Salgaoncar from all the position in the association. And BCCI joint secretary Amitabh Chaudhary said we have reiterated the zero tolerance towards this corruption activity. However, today match will go ahead despite this serious decision to tampering the pitch.

According to the sources, the Amitabh Chaudhary has also said that it is ridiculous that both the former MCA President Ajay Shirke and current president Abhay Apte helped Pandurang Salgaoncar after retirement. In 1974 he was toured with the Indian team for an unofficial series against Sri Lanka. Indian cricketers expressed shock after hearing about this pitch tampering sting operation.
