Independence Day celebration: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat was stopped to host flag at Kerala school

On the occasion of 71st Independence day  RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat was stopped to hoist the Indian national flag “tringa”  at a government-aided school in  Palakkad district of Kerala . As per authorities political personalities were not permitted do this.

The District Collector and police had written the letter to Karnakeyamen School management that the school was under state support, only people’s representatives or the head of the school could raise the flag and not any political personalities. The school belongs to RSS supporters and they had invited Bhagwat to be the chief guest on India’s Independence Day.

Recently a RSS supporter E Rajesh was killed in Thiruananthapuram. In that case Finance Minister Arun Jaitley visited the RSS supporter house. In the state after Onam BJP will hold a mega roadshow in which BJP president Amit Shah and chief ministers of BJP-ruled states may attend the roadshow.
