Independence Day 2017: India’s 70th sovereignty celebration

15th August 1947, when our country got independence from the Britishers. And our Constitution came into power, with Jawaharlal Nehru, who became the first prime minister of our country by raising the Indian flag at the Lahori Gate of the Red Fort of India. And each year this costume is carried by our prime minister by hoisting the flag at Red Fort with the speech of both, prime minister and president of our country.
Each other this day is marked as the national holiday of the country. But this year, the plan is different.

The centre has asked the people to observe this day as ‘Sankalp Parva’, in order to devote themselves to the society and to come up with ideas to make a better India. A lot of things are going to be done on this 15th August. Followed by Flag Hoisting, parade, Singing Patriotic Songs and the national anthem, Speech by the Prime Minister and President of India Prime minister, Narender Modi, during a news show ‘Mann Ki Baat’ said the month of August, let us all come together to solve the issues of Dirt- Quit India, Poverty- Quit India, Corruption- Quit India, Terrorism- Quit India, Casteism- Quit India and Communalism- Quit India. Soon our nation will complete 75 years of Quit-India Movement, and to come up with new India, this 5 years, 2017-2022, we are getting the opportunity to prosper our nation. Hence, this 15th August, it will be celebrated as the day of resolving.
