15th August 1947, when our country got independence from the Britishers. And our Constitution came into power, with Jawaharlal Nehru, who became the first prime minister of our country by raising the Indian flag at the Lahori Gate of the Red Fort of India. And each year this costume is carried by our prime minister by hoisting the flag at Red Fort with the speech of both, prime minister and president of our country.
