‘Honor Band 3’ with tag price of Rs 2,799 and 30 days battery life launched

Huawei  on Thursday launched ‘Honor Band 3’, a smartness fitness wrist band, which has a capability of withstanding 50 meter water resistance . ‘Honor Band 3’ , the smart band has features like heart rate monitoring, walking, running and advanced sleep tracking. Honor 3 Band can purchased from Amazon.com from July 21 and is cheaply priced at Rs 2,799.

Huawei claims that the device runs for 30 days on a single charge and has custom swim modes along with an option to check on number of calories burned. For heart rate tracking, the band has five zones to help a user precisely track and optimize workouts. Its heart rate algorithm, coupled with ‘M4’ core technology, claims to deliver accurate heart rate data.

The band’s bright display also works as an assistant with notification alerts like caller ID, emails, call rejection, social media and calendar alerts. With Honor 3 Band launch, Huawei would be competing with Samsung Gear S2, Xiaomi Mi Band, Pebble’s fitness band, Fitbit blaze. Cheaply Priced at Rs 2,799 and with humongous battery life, product can prove to be a hit among Indian smart watch users.

Huawei is a chinese multinational company dealing in networking and telecommunications, recently it entered in smart devices market as a part of its expansion strategy. Huawei partnered with Google to design Google Nexus 6P , which was originally designed by the company. With Huawei Honor P10 market entry, the company made a mark in niche segment.
