Honeypreet Insan sent for six days remand by the court today

Honeypreet Insan arrested on Tuesday and was presented before the court today. After producing in front of the court for more than two hours, Honeypreet to be kept under lockup for six days. As per the reports, police have asked to keep her in lockup for fourteen days but the court orders for the custody of six days. Inside the courtroom, her lawyer claimed that she is innocent and everyone is trying to pull her, in this case, says report. Although earlier after the arrest police questioned her for more than four hours where she said that she doesn’t know anything and she is purely innocent.

Sources said that after moving from Ludhiana Honeypreet had stayed in a resort in Banur area of Patiala which is located at a distance of 25 kms from Chandigarh. Honeypreet in her statement said that she was mentally unstable that is why she was hiding from everyone. After 40 days Honeypreet was arrested and presented before the court where she broke out her silence.

However, sources said Honeypreet attempted to surrender before she moved her interim bail application in Delhi High Court. During interrogation in the night; Honeypreet complained of chest pain and was taken to the hospital where doctors declared her fit. And now she has sent to a six-day police remand by the court.
