Himachal Election: Congress Manifesto (Ghoshna Patra) released by Kaul Singh Thakur

On Wednesday Congress has released its manifesto ahead of general assembly election on 9th November. Committee lead by Kaul Singh Thakur prepared the manifesto and left no stone unturned to make their voters happy in the coming elections. Congress Manifesto for Himachal was collectively released by Chief Minister Vir Bhadra Singh, Congress Ministers Sushil Kumar Shinde, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, and Manifesto Committee Leader, Kaul Singh Thakur.

In the manifesto released today, the party promises to provide interest-free loan up to 1 lakh to the Farmers and 50,000 laptops with 1 GB free data to school students. On the job front, the party claims that it has provided to 75000 people and promises to raise this figure to 1.5 lakh jobs if voted to power. Subsidy will also provide for the crop protection to farmer, as per official tweet of Congress Party “90% subsidy on seeds, fertilizer, insecticides, farming equipment, ground fencing & rain water harvesting proposed”

Congress Himachal manifesto (Ghoshna Patra) for general assembly election includes  

  • Subsidy for crop protection and interest-free loans up to one lakh for Farmers
  • Decentralization of power in village panchayats
  • All villages to be joined by roads
  • MNREGA workers to be paid Rs 350 per day
  • 50,000 students to get laptops with 1 GB free data
  • Merit scholarships for higher education in India and abroad
  • One Rank One Pension issue will be raised
  • Private Transport sector will be opened to youths
  • There will be working women in hospitals
  • One lakh rupees for marriage of widow’s daughters
