Government to enact Rs 1.2 lakh crore Universal security plan for poor

The NDA government has drafted a Rs 1.2 crore plan to provide social security to the poor people of the country. For the upcoming 2019 elections, Modi government is set to improve the life of the extremely poor people of India. As per the reports, this will be the bigger scheme of the government that planned to benefit all the individuals who have divided into three categories. These three categories will comprise of 20 percent poor people who will get a government payout, the second category of those who subscribe on their own and the formal sector workers the third category of those who will need to set aside a fixed proportion of their earnings toward the scheme.

According to the sources finance minister planning to enrol this scheme from the next year. And the scheme will have two tiers in which the first tier consists of mandatory pension, maternity coverage and insurance. While second comprised of unemployment coverage, sickness and medical coverage. This scheme of the Ministry of Labour and Employment collected funds under the mandatory scheme.

It is to be started by the next year ahead of the 2019 general election. As per the reports, the labour ministry has sent it to the finance ministry. It will be comprised of the number of social security codes.
