Goa Ministers to get two officers on special duty

Every Minister in Goa will be allocated two officers on special duty (OSDs), who will be experts in fields related to the Ministry, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said on Wednesday.

He added that additional portfolios would be allocated to Ministers in the Bharatiya Janata Party-led coalition government later in the day.

At a cabinet meeting held at the State Secretariat on Wednesday, Parrikar also said that 1.44 lakh sq.m. of revenue land at Mopa village, located around 50 km from Panaji, had been transferred to the state Civil Aviation Ministry for development of the Mopa greenfield airport, as per a cabinet decision.
