Gandhi Jayanti 2017 : Let us spread the message of love today

The nation all over the country today remembers the big old freedom fighter of the country, Mahatma Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. On the 148th birth anniversary of Gandhi Ji, people all over the country gives homage to the man in different forms. Our Prime minister, Narender Modi, today reached Rajghat in Delhi to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.

Born in the small village of Porbandar, Gujarat, Gandhi Ji took his earlier political training in South Africa. Born to the parents of PutliBai Gandhi and Karamchand Gandhi, and soon married to Kasturba Gandhi, he leads a simple life fighting for the mother love of the country. Gandhi Ji’s one more motive was to keep the country clean, but what he could not do, our political leaders of the country are doing. Our PM Narender Modi, is completing 3 years of the Clean India campaign which was launched back in the year 2014. The campaign which is hailed by a lot of political leaders, Bollywood celebs, sports people, has promised the universal cleanliness by 2021.

The day marks the holiday of the workplace, school, colleges today as a gazetted holiday. But before that, a lot of essay competition, debates, writings, slogan writing competitions are held in order to pay homage to the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Also, his favorite Bhajan, ‘Raghu Pati Raghav Raja Ram’, is also sung at the places in order to spread peace and non-violence. So, let us all remember Gandhi Ji’s work today and his struggle for making the country free.
