First Engine Less Train T-18 may run in Varanasi on December 2018

Indian one of the newest modern engine-less train T-18 can be seen running by December 2018 at PM Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency in Varanasi. Before this, T-18 is being run on many routes. Of this, Delhi-Bhopal is being given first priority. According to some railway sources say that apart from the Delhi-Bhopal route, Lucknow-Varanasi, Patna-Varanasi route for the state-of-the-art train is also being considered. This train could replace the famous Indian High-Speed buster Shatabadi Express. However, the railways official have not yet done any root finals. The first technical trial of T-18 has been successfully completed from Moradabad to Bareilly section track. The second trial will be done in the quota section.

First Engine Less Train T-18

The trial of Engineless train T-18 will start from 01 December. The train will run from Kota to Sawimadhopur with a boost speed of 160 kilometers per hour. On 26th November the train’s rack has reached Kota. The quota is also included in the time line list released by the Railways. The trial of train will be done between Shamgarh, Kota, Sawimadhapura railway track section.

Speed Test of First Engine Less Train T-18

The speed trial of T-18 in Kota will start at a speed of 10 km per hour. Later it will be gradually increased to 180 kmph. There are few routes in the country where trains can be run at speeds of 160 kilometers or more than it. There is such a railway track in Kota Division. However, the Modi government is also constructing a separate route for the trial of semi-high speed trains.

Significantly, this is the first train made under the Make in India Scheme. This train has been prepared in Chennai’s Integral Coach Factory (ICF). It has been prepared with a cost of 100 crores. The second set will be ready by February. Total six sets will be prepared for this.
