A furious fire broke out in an office in Gujarat International Finance Tech-city in Gandhinagar. Six fire fighter vehicles were sent to the spot to control the fire before it began to spread, and they were able to hush it up in time. When the incident happened, there was a commotion in the area, as people began to get away from the building and run for safety.  Smoke could be seen in the sky and it quickly turned dark, as the office kept burning, with the fire blazing inside and choking the everything with ash and the smell of burning.

The first two firefighters that had been sent to control the fire weren’t able to accomplish the task, so more had to be called as the fire kept roaring. Fortunately, there have been no injuries in the accident and no casualties. Almost an hour had passed when people spotted the smoke coming from the house that had been converted into offices for the GIFT city.

The cause of the fire is as of yet unknown. GIFT city, has a number of national and international companies in its locality, as it was the dream project of  Prime Minister Narendra Modi, when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. People who were present at the vicinity have shared videos of the fire to alert others and the authorities.
