Emmanuel Macron and Narendra Modi issue joint statement, India and France sign 14 agreements

The President of France Emmanuel Macron and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, issued a joint statement, stating that the two nations have singed 14 agreements after being in a meeting for 90 minutes. During the statement, Modi once again welcomed Macron in India, remembering how he had been welcomed in France, adding that even though the strategic partnership of the two nation is only 20 years old, the spiritual relationship is even older. He pointed that the meeting of India and France is between two civilizations.  Modi said that the two countries are bound from the  Liberty, Equality, Fraternity Constitution of India, not only in France.

He also pointed out the bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense, security, space, and high technology. According to him, to strengthen the bond between the two nations, it is important that the people from each country communicate each other, to understand their work and culture, because its only through interaction that the relation can be sustained for a long time.

Two of the most important agreements between France and India according to him are  education qualifications, and the second is migration and mobility partnership. This is a huge leap concerned with their relationship together and these agreements are going to help them understand each other more and help mutual development. India is one of the fastest developing countries in the world, and it would be good if the ties between the countries also give new opportunities to the Indian citizens.
