Rangoli is one of the significant things in Diwali festival.The word rangoli is derived from Sanskrit word rangavalli. Drawing rangoli in Diwali festival in the house is believed as auspicious. Rangolis can be easily made by using colored rice and rice powder whereas flower rangolis are also very simple and elegant. various designs like the peacock, Ganesha, Krishna or any scenery can be easily made with the rice. Daisies, rose, and marigolds are usually used in making rangolis. Leaves are also can be use in making the designs and to give a more attractive look to rangoli.
