Delhi Traffic Police issues advisory ahead of Republic Day 2018 parade rehearsals

On the parade rehearsals of 68th Republic day, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued advisory today. The rehearsals of Republic Day parade in Delhi to be observed on Saturday and Sunday of this week. The Republic Day 2018 parade rehearsals will mark on central Delhi road such as Tilak Marg. So, the commuters are advised to avoid the journey on Tilak Marg, Mathura road, BSZ Marg, Subhash Marg, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg and Ring Road between ISBT bridge and Nizamuddin Bridge. Also, the commuters are advised to plan their journey accordingly. There are six major road routes in Delhi which will be closed on Republic Day and during the parade rehearsals from 5 am to 9 am on Saturday and Sunday.

As per the reports, Delhi’s traffic police will close these routes such as Delhi Gate to Chatta Rail, GPO Delhi to Chatta Rail, S.P.Mukherjee Marg from H.C.Sen Marg to Yamuna Bazar Chowk, Chandni Chowk Road from Fountain Chowk to Red Fort, Esplanade Road and its Link Road to Netaji Subhash Marg and Nishad Raj Marg from Ring Road to Netaji Subhash Marg for the general traffic for some time on the eve of Republic Day because the parade will observe on these routes.

However, every year in Delhi the parade rehearsals will be marked on Saturday and Sunday before the Republic Day. And in the wake of Republic Day Parade rehearsals, Delhi’s Traffic Police issued the advisory for commuters to avoid journey on the roads where the parade has been observed. Every year on 26th January the Republic Day is celebrated in India with a lot of joy, excitement and happiness. It is the day which is observed to celebrate the Constitution of India. On 26th November 1949, the Indian Constituent Assembly had adopted Indian Constitution. And on 26th January, It came into existence with the democratic government.
