Delhi MCD 2017: BJP chief Amit Shah headed to set the ‘vision’ of its newly-elected councillors

On Tuesday BJP set to celebrate its massive victory in the MCD elections, BJP chief Amit Shah headed to set the ‘vision’ of its newly-elected 181 councillors in his ‘Margdarshan’ speech at the ruling party’s Vijay Utsav in the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Civic Center, Delhi. This will be the first time since the win and after the Panch Parmeshwar Sammelan in March that kick-started the party’s campaign for the elections, that the BJP national convenor will be addressing the party workers in a formal address in the city.

BJP chief speech tops the party agenda is the preparation of the strategy for the possible re-election to the 21 Assembly seats, besides the win and the vision. BJP state general secretary said that they have made elaborate preparations for the event with regional music bands to welcome party chief.

Apart from Amit Shah, many senior party leaders including Nirmala Sitharaman, Vinay Sahasrabuddhe and Jitendra Chaudhary, also attended the event. Manoj Tiwari dedicated his win to party chief Amit Shah and said that “Amit Shah became our party’s winning by word so we dedicated our win to him”.

in this celebration party discussed the strategy and possible preparations to win the upcoming by-polls. This win will be another big jolt to the AAP government. BJP pulled off a massive victory in this Municipal Corporations election by winning 181 out of total 270 wards for three municipal corporations. BJP headed all three municipal corporations of Delhi.
