Deadline for Aadhaar Card linking

Aadhaar card is a bigger buzzword and as the central government makes it necessary to link with Bank accounts, Public Provident Fund (PPF), insurance policies, mobile sim, ration card and perhaps even PAN before the end-December as the deadline. According to the notification given on May 11, 2017, these services are mandatory to link with Aadhaar before their deadline.

Bank account: According to the available information, the deadline for the banks to link the account of the customer with their Aadhaar is December 31, 2017. Aadhaar centres have been opened in banks, which makes it easy for the customers. Aadhaar card can be linked, with the customers’ mobile banking to the bank accounts.

Pan card: Linking of Aadhaar Card to the PAN card can help to stop illegal transaction of money through fake pan cards. Aadhaar card has to be linked to PAN card on or before December 31, 2017, otherwise, the PAN card will be blocked.

Social service schemes: The 135 Total social service scheme including MNREGA, LPG, Ration Card and the beneficiaries should link their Aadhaar Card number on or before December 31, 2017. Which helps Citizens in future.

PPF NSC, KVP, Post Office: The centre Government has made it necessary to linking of Aadhaar number to post office account, PPF, NSC, and KVP whose the last date is 31 December of this year.

Mutual funds are also mandatory for the individual to link with Aadhaar card before December, 31 as the deadline.

Mobile sim cards still have time to link with Aadhaar, as the deadline for mobile sim linking is February 6, 2018.
