Chennai Weather remains sultry and humid despite light rains from last some days. Although last 24 hours Chennai recorded light rainfall in Minambakkam and Nungambakkam regions. Today Chennai is expected to witness rainfall and thundershower for next two days. And it is to be said that Chennai weather may hinder the first ODI match that will be played in Chennai today at MA Chidambaram stadium from 1.30 pm onwards between team India and Australia.
As per the weather reports the rainfall activity to be marked in Chennai today during afternoon and evening hours, also the sky will be cloudy. Later rainfall will increase over Northern parts of Tamil Nadu along with East Coast. While the axis of Monsoon trough will be passing through the Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh, Central Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Odisha, and Chattisgarh. And also the Western Disturbance will be marked over North Pakistan and adjoining areas. The weather reports also say that the cyclonic circulation will be seen over North Karnataka Coast and the Arabian Sea.
However, the rain showers are expected to move over North Tamil Nadu Coast that includes Chennai and some other parts of Tamil Nadu. Also, the light-moderate rain will be marked over Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Rayalaseema.
